There is still time to register for the 2021 fall semester at East Central Community College in Decatur, and eight different terms from which to choose.
On-Campus Courses
The last day to register for Fall 2021 Full-Term On-Campus Day and Evening courses is Tuesday, Aug. 17. Classes begin on Monday, Aug. 16, and end Thursday, Dec. 9.
The last day to register for Fall 2021 Intensive Term I On-Campus courses is Tuesday, Aug. 17. Classes begin on Monday, Aug. 16, and end Tuesday, Oct. 5.

ECCC Centralettes to Hold Dance Camp for Elementary-Age Girls Aug. 29
The East Central Community College Centralettes danceline, which performs with the Wall O’ Sound Marching Band, will host a Dance Camp for girls in 1st through 6th grades on Sunday, Aug. 29.
The camp will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium on the Decatur campus. Cost is $50 per student and includes a T-shirt and snack.
Participants will learn a dance routine and will be invited to perform during the ECCC vs. Jones College football game scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16, at Bailey Stadium on campus.

United in Faith Worldwide! Jehovah’s Witnesses Virtual Event
In the past, Jehovah’s Witnesses have gathered together for their annual conventions at venues like the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, the Landers Center in Southaven, or the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi. EC Day at the Neshoba County Fair to Take Place July 26
East Central Community College in Decatur invites all alumni, students, friends, and fair goers to attend “EC Day at the Fair” scheduled for Monday, July 26, 2021, during the annual Neshoba County Fair in Philadelphia.
The annual event kicks off at 1 p.m. at Founders Square Pavilion with a performance by the Collegians rock-n-roll band, a Fair tradition for more than 25 years! Also making an appearance will be the Warrior cheerleaders and the Centralettes dance line.
East Central Community College President Dr. Brent Gregory, who just completed his first year leading his alma mater, will be in attendance and provide brief remarks. Representatives from the college’s student services, alumni, and athletics offices will also be on hand to provide free popsicles, athletics schedules, promotional items and door prizes.

Louisville Community Blood Drive at the Winston County Library
The Winston County Library will host a mobile blood drive Tuesday, July 27, from 11 am – 2 pm. Mississippi and the nation face a severe blood shortage this summer, and your help is needed. You can help ensure the fun does not stop this summer for someone in serious medical need.
“Donations typically drop during the summer months, so be sure to schedule your summer donation today,” said librarian Beth Edwards.
