Fundraiser for Delois Kincaid - May 15

There will be a Fundraiser for Delois Kincaid on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Vowell's Market Place Parking Lot.
 
There will be 3 different plate options to choose from: Catfish Plates for $12 - Grilled Chicken Plates for $11 - Chicken Strips, fries & drink for $8.

In case of rain the fundraiser will move to South Louisville Baptist Church Life Center.
Delois Kincaid is an employee at Vowell's meat department and she has been diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer.

E911 TELECOMMUNICATOR POSITION AVAILABLE

LOUISVILLE E911 IS CURRENTLY LOOKING TO FILL A POSITION FOR TELECOMMUNICATOR. SHIFTS CONSIST OF 8 OR 12 HOURS AND WILL INCLUDE DAY SHIFTS, NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, AND HOLIDAYS. THE FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSES OF THE POSITION ARE TO RECEIVE ALL INCOMING 911 CALLS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIRE, AND MEDICAL; TO ANSWER ADMINISTRATIVE CALLS SUCH AS ALARMS, ACCIDENTS, TICKETS AND FINES; TO DISPATCH NECESSARY UNITS TO CALLS OVER THE RADIO; AND TO UTILIZE COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH SOFTWARE.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED, MUST BE ABLE TO TYPE 35 WPM, BE FAMILIAR WITH COMPUTERS AND BASIC OFFICE EQUIPMENT, ABLE TO MULTI-TASK, HAVE GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS.

APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK VARIOUS SHIFTS, AS ASSIGNED, DUE TO THE UNPREDICTABLE AND CRITICAL NATURE OF THE WORK, AND MUST BE WILLING AND AVAILABLE TO WORK ADDITIONAL HOURS BEYOND ASSIGNED SHIFTS, SOMETIMES WITH LITTLE NOTICE. APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TESTING. ALSO, APPLICANTS MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH THE GEOGRAPHY OF THE COUNTY.
