The Workforce Development Center at East Central Community College in Decatur is offering a two-day Forklift Operation course through the ReSkillMS program.
Registration is currently open and financial aid is available to qualified applicants through the ReSkillMS program. The class will meet from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the old US Motors facility, located at 1224 North Pecan Avenue in Philadelphia. Taylor Dickerson will serve as instructor.

ReSkillMS was recently announced by Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves to help individuals who have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to find jobs and to support employers who want to hire and train new employees on the job. Funds to support the program come from the federal CARES Act.
